I'm a notorious impulse buyer, just ask anyone in my family.
The other day while looking for a tarp in WallyMart I spotted this large plastic box c/w latches for $39.

Even though it is pretty flimsy it does come with latches and I can tie it to the floor. At the time I thought it was a fair price and a solution to my storage problems in the back of my Libby.

I've thrown all the lose stuff that was sliding around in the back of my Libby into one container and using bungee cords I've fastened it to the floor. Now cleaning out the back of my Jeep takes five minutes not fifteen.
You could probably adapt this idea to use in the back of your Jeep regardless of the model.
My next project will be one of those shelves to cover the rear cargo area.
