Hey all, I'm new to the off-roading scene, but have always been a driving enthusiast in love with german sports cars, I currently own a BMW 850 and a Mercedes C63AMG. Over the summer i bought a '92 Chev Tracker and beat it about in the woods to see how I'd like it, and I was sold on driving off-road. Though I don't have a jeep, I do have my own off-road beast and would love to find trails and go off with other enthusiasts!

Nice Rigs!

Love to see you come down to Saint John and do some wheeling with us
you are welcome to tag along on runs; they are posted here all the time, but it would be a real shame to scratch/dent such a nice ride offroad, and with the current weather there is alot of branches hanging low so you would be guarenteed some scratches. You could also start by riding along with someone your first day, just to be sure where we go is a spot you would not mind putting the porche.

I've had the porsche offroading a handful of times, and the paint is quite resiliant and usually i put the elbow grease in myself to bring her back to the shine one would expect of the car. I'd be happy to ride along as I'm very un-experienced in the offroad field, literally having experience in only an old standard tracker and the porsche.
I'll check out the offroad club too. Thanks guys!

I would most likley do the tag along first, not try to turn u away from wheeling at AT ALL, but not sure u understand where we really take are rigs. Really not trying to be rude but would not want to see those bumpers in the back of the porsche than on it.

I'll trade ya a trail ready suv for yours hahaha.
Go on a Jeep run with one of the crew and you'll be trading in that lovely suv pretty quick ;-)
Have fun and play safe

Well, i'd be as interested to check out a run before i try and take my truck down there. It is the depth of the trails that I'm worried about. The truck does have rock rails and the undercarriage done, but again it's the ride height that would scare me. I'll play it by year, see how things look and make better decisions as the time goes on!
And thanks for the trade offer, we should talk once i've got the car stuck, i'll be more inclined to trade it then ;)
first off....welcome!
You should come by the meet and greet tonight and jump in with one of us, we are only going for a short run somewhere close and you could get an idea of what it is we do!
The M/G is at Tim Hortons on west Main and we meet around 7pm.
Take care!
The only thing that would worry me with that vehicle is the approach angle.
There's some stock friendly runs that you could do without any trouble...and the snow probably helps too.
I wonder what kind of skid plates those would have.

Actually the approach angle is fine, the nose is angled so it's clearance is really good. The stock friendly runs is exactly what i'd love to take the truck on.
The meet and greet sounds good. I'll try and get out of my other obligations tonight and take a look! I'm really interested
